When do Polish civil records need an English translation?
Birth, marriage, and death certificates may be requested by US institutions. Whether a translation is necessary depends on the particular procedure and the receiving organization.
Ask the receiving institution which document version and translation certification it requires. A certified translation is not the same thing as an apostille.
